Summary: A mixed picture overall. The hotel is beautiful, especially the location and the grounds. However the room itself was in dire need of redecoration, which was disappointing. There was a restaurant but the menu is very high end, so we needed to go into the village to buy any snacks - but the fridge in the room made that easier. The bus stop is just outside the hotel with very regular departures - only 20 mins to Nice but only to the edge of town, so you need a connecting tram to go to the really nice bits.
