The cultural cities of Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa and Florence are easily accessible as day trips. Small castle villages worth seeing such as Suvereto, Campiglia Marittima, Populonia and Piombino are in the immediate vicinity! From Piombion you can easily take the ferry to Elba.
