The Il Pratone agriturismo is situated a short distance from the historic centre of Castiglione d'Orcia, with a beautiful panorama and view of the valley and the River Orcia. The house, which is in the typical construction style of the Val d'Orcia, has been restored with materials typical of the area and consists of a large kitchen, a living room with fireplace, two bedrooms with bathroom and toilet. The house is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, and borders onto an oak wood. The agristurismo is ideal for relaxing holidays in close contact with nature due to its seclusion and the special ambience in this part of the Val d'Orcia. The small farm is a family business and covers five hectares, three hectares of olive groves and 3500 square metres of special wine growing. In addition to olive oil, fruits and vegetables are grown. There is an extra room where you can sample the oil, the wine and, in autumn, chestnuts. The farm has an organic certification for its products and belongs to the Strada del Vino Orcia society, recently recognised by the Region of Tuscany.
