Between Versilia and the Cinque Terre, surrounded by lemon trees, generous hydrangeas and mint bushes, accommodation in the hills is always kissed by the sun.
It is convenient for reaching the sea with sandy beaches, both free and with bathing establishments.
My accommodation is suitable for couples, business travelers and families with children, where the taste of bread, cakes, pasta, homemade jams make the difference.
The center of Massa is 1 km away and can be easily reached on foot in just 10 minutes.
ACCOMMODATION
The independent house that I propose to my guests is the dependence of the villa owned by "I LIMONI", where I live surrounded by greenery above the hills of Massa.
A gate with an attached avenue will allow you to access the property surrounded by beautiful vegetation.
Reserved and private parking.
A few steps and we are in the atrium where we find a sofa bed and in front of the only bathroom with shower.
Following the large living room with windowed dining room and separate kitchen with fireplace, you can exit the French window onto a beautiful covered terrace, from where a staircase leads us to the relaxation area and outdoor snacks below.
From the dining room a comfortable brick staircase leads us to the sleeping area consisting of:
a double bedroom with king size bed, a single bed and a cot and another bedroom with two single beds which can be joined and transformed into another double bed if required. From the large windows you can admire a breathtaking view of the city and the immensity of the sea in the background.
For guests who make early check in or late check out, there will be a place used for luggage storage, located on the ground floor of the house, which they can use for free.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
I will be happy to be available to my guests, living next door, to offer a unique, extraordinary, unforgettable stay and satisfy every request.
Upon your arrival you will find a table set with sweets, bread, jam, fruit, "homemade for you with love", to welcome you.
You can enjoy them, in complete relaxation, in your breakfasts or snacks in the garden, surrounded by green plants and colorful flowers, savoring in addition to the taste also pleasant sensations that only nature can give.
I will prepare for you, on request: bread, pizza, pasta and homemade desserts made by me according to typical recipes of Italian and local cuisine.
In the kitchen you will find a first supply of basic products (salt, sugar, coffee and oil) and products for cleaning the house.
The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, microwave, frezer, fridge, kettle, espresso coffee machine and other appliances.
In addition, double free supply of linen for the kitchen, for bed and also for the cradle of babies and towels.
You will have available for your children a high chair to let them have lunch and dinner close to you, but in complete autonomy and two strollers to make your walks at sea and in the city in complete tranquility.
In the garden you will find an area equipped with games for children, table with chairs and umbrella for lunch and dinner outdoors, barbecue and a relaxation area with deck chairs, sun loungers and tables.
To the delight of your children, there will be bicycles, tricycles and games to make them feel at home and in complete freedom.
For your days on the beach there will be at your disposal: umbrella, small deck chairs, children's beach games and beach towels, all completely free.
I will be at your disposal on arrival and at any other time and for needs to check in in a foreign language (English, French,
German, Russian) a dear friend of mine will welcome you to give you all the information you need and to help you better organize your stay.
THE DISTRICT
GILDA HOUSE is the perfect place for a vacation away from the noisy crowds.
Located 1 km from the center of the city of Massa there are shops, supermarkets and services.
The historic center offers
a large pedestrian area from which you can reach the Malaspina Castle. From here a breathtaking view of the city and the sea will give you unforgettable emotions.
A few steps on foot from the house, you will find a grocery store, delicatessen, butcher, bakery, pharmacy, post office, tobacco bar, pizzeria, restaurants and trattoria.
Public transportation is also 5 minutes away.
Ten minutes by car we find the promenade with bathing establishments, free beaches, restaurants and pizzerias and trendy clubs.
The beaches of Marina di Massa, Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio, Marinella di Sarzana and Lerici can be reached in a short time.
Nearby are the hills of Candia covered with vineyards where a white wine from Vermentine grapes is produced in both dry and sweet versions which can be enjoyed accompanied by typical local dishes in trattorias and restaurants located nearby.
For lovers of walking and trekking, paths surrounded by nature will introduce you to our wonderful Apuan Alps just a few km from the house, with breathtaking views of the sea and the city.
In half an hour you will reach the suggestive and thousand-year-old Carrara marble quarries, world center for the extraction of marble, loved by Michelangelo and the village of Colonnata nearby, it will be the ideal place to stop to taste his famous lard.
Very close to the famous Cinque Terre reachable both from Massa station and by boat with the departure from the pier of Marina di Massa.
In less than an hour you can reach the Tuscan cities of art of Pisa, Lucca by train or by car and in less than two hours you will visit the fantastic Florence, not to forget Siena and the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.
What about the chiccosa Forte dei Marmi? Famous seaside resort of Versilia, a luxurious and sought-after destination for those who do not want to give up shopping, trendy clubs and nightlife.
CAUTION
From 1 October 2019 to 30 April 2020 the costs for the consumption of natural gas heating will be calculated based on the consumption made during the stay at the price of Euro 1.20 per m3.
Each additional guest, after the second guest, will be required Euro 10.00
as a supplement per night.
The costs of water and electricity are free.
