Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: B&B la Contessa was clean, and the room was comfortable. Parking is easy because it is not near the town of Gubbio, but closer to highways and state routes. It is on the outskirts of the town. The bathroom was spotless and there was plenty of storage space. Personnel was friendly and somewhat accommodating.

Negative: B&B la Contessa was difficult to find, as it is part of a restaurant/pizzeria/dining establishment. It looks like a truck stop from the outside. No breakfast was included in the price, despite the name B&B. The photos on Booking make it appear to be in the middle of the town of Gubbio, and though the site states they are 1.4 miles away, the distance is greater to the parts of town that have touristic interest. There is not reliable public transportation from the B&B to the town.

Summary: Comfortable place, but hardly in the town of Gubbio
