On the first floor living room with fireplace, sofa bed and exit to the terrace; dining room, kitchenette, bathroom with shower. An open spiral staircase leads up to the romantic bedroom. On the property: terrace seating area (pergola) with barbecue; deck chairs and outdoor shower. In August, guests have exclusive use of the owner's pool on the adjacent property upon request/for a fee. The location is ideal to enjoy Arezzo with its worth seeing old town - e.g. strolling through the Corso, visiting the worth seeing cathedral, the Romanesque Pieve, the church of San Francesco with the famous fresco cycle by Pero della Francesca - and of course having an aperitif on the Piazza Grande! Numerous trattorias offer local delicacies. In June and September, Piazza Grande hosts the traditional Saracino equestrian games; on the first weekend of every month, the entire old town comes alive with the great national antiques market. Other places to visit: The picturesque Etruscan town of Cortona (35 km), Castiglion Fibocchi, Monte San Savino and Lucignano (all about 25 km); Casentino with its castles and woods and picturesque Poppi, where you can also play golf (35 km). Siena 75 km, Florence 90 km. In Capolona (5 km) you can get everything for your daily needs: stores of all kinds, trattorias, bars, tennis courts, private train to Arezzo and Poppi.
